I'd have to respectfully disagree with you on saying that Sonic Colors and Generations aren't as good as Lost World. Because honestly, even though I don't consider Sonic Colors perfect, I still like it overall, and I would say that Sonic Generations is the best Sonic game to date, in my opinion.

I wasn’t saying that Lost World was better per se.Lost World admittedly has more obvious flaws to the game compared to Colors and Generations. I just enjoyed Lost World’s gameplay more then I did for Colors and Generations. Cause I felt there was a little too much “Boost to win” in both Colors and Generations. While Lost World actually required some more platforming. It did kinda feel like it was too inspired by Mario (Just look at the themes of the worlds and look at a New Super Mario Bros. game, doesn’t help that the Deadly Six might as well be Koopaling rip-offs). But other then a few annoying levels, I had more fun with Lost World then I did playing through Colors and Generations.

I think it’s possible for a game to be objectively better then a game, but still enjoy the more flawed game (Another example is I love Mario Kart 64. And even though Double Dash and Mario Kart Wii are quite clearly better games. I still enjoy playing MK64 more then both because it had a certain charm about it that I liked).
