And your beef about Flash Sentry not being a compelling character so far, is exactly my issue with people like you and most of the fandom overreacting about some harmless character. I mean look, just because Flash stole your and most other bronies waifu, it's ridiculous to treat it as some unforgivable crime that you people are still butthurt about. Since in my opinion, I personally wouldn't mind or have any real issue with the show introducing the character in a major role.

I was going to compile all your asks. But I need this to get out of the way right now especially on the whole “just because Flash stole your and most other bronies waifu, it’s ridiculous to treat it as some unforgivable crime that you people are still butthurt about”

I am telling you right now that the biggest reason I don’t like Flash Sentry is NOT just because he happens to be for a part of one movie in a romantic relationship with my favorite pony. There’s more to it then that. If they actually did give someone to Twilight to have some sort of relationship with. They should at least try to give them chemistry or something to make me like “Alright Twilight loves this guy/stallion, let’s see what this brings”. Because Flash hardly has a personality, there’s nothing for Twilight’s own to rub off of. Even from a neutral perspective I would think that Twilight and Flash’s relationship is entirely uninteresting just on the basis that Twilight has loads more character to her then Flash does. What brings us to the show is the characterization of the many characters of the show and we want to see them bounce off eachother. There is none of that between Flash and Twilight. If instead of Flash Sentry, there was an episode where Twilight dates Big Mac, Braeburn, Fancy Pants, or any other established character I would be curious to see how it works out because we know something of the other character already and we get to see how it works in a romance setup with Twilight. You don’t get that from Flash.
