This is a bit of a teaser for a sideblog I’ll be running later this year. I’ll probably officially begin it shortly before Super Smash Bros. 4 comes out. This blog is all about the Main 6, Spike, and many other characters of the show who occasionally gather to play some Smash Bros. by themselves or together. Every main character will have at least 4 Mains even if at least a few have to end up over lapping (But if they overlap, they’ll definitely play the character in a different way from the pony who has the same main.) There will be captions of pictures I take within both versions of the game that act like the Ponies as if they were playing Smash Bros. together, alone, etc.

Although, every character will start with one and only one main. It will be up to askers to suggest what the Ponies should also main, and explain to them why they should consider them. I already have a good idea on other ideas other then the first ones I already have up here. But it’s to see if the Askers can suggest Mains for the ponies for the same reasons I’m thinking about. Or even possibly think of a reason a certain character would main a character in Smash Bros. that I had not thought of. Even after a Pony has had 4 Mains they are subject to change much like we can be about or mains. However the original main will always be a part of the four mains regardless what happens.

The site will start with the Mane 6 + Spike only but this is another thing that the askers have at least some control over. They can suggest other ponies to play after a little while. To make it more interactive, they must also suggest who that Pony’s first main would be. And if I feel that’s a good enough match. They’ll be added as occasional players.

Might be more to it later but for now there’s plenty of time (Since we actually don’t quite know SSB4’s exact release date yet)

It will probably be a little while before I actually do this blog but as a mod blog exclusive I’ll let the about +100 people and/or friends that follow me her be known about it for months before I actually start it ^^

I’d have thought rarity would play Marth or Peach similar to Melee competitive circuit players Husband and Wife?

Marth might end up being one of Rarity’s mains in the blog eventually. But I thought Wii Fit Trainer would fit for the character she’d pick first because of the more graceful style of fighting that she has. Also that feeling of underestimating the character because of who she is. Many people when WFT was first announced were puzzled as to how she would fight. Just like how at first when people watch Friendship is Magic we may think Rarity is just a prissy bitch who cares only about fashion and can’t defend herself. And Rarity has proven time and time again that just because she’s a lady doesn’t mean she can’t fight back and she has a legitimate reason to talk about fashion since it’s essentially her career.

While WFT will prove how she can fight with some of Nintendo’s best when the game arrives.

So therefore I think Wii Fit Trainer is the perfect choice for a first main for Rarity. This doesn’t mean she’ll be her #1 Main, but I feel it’s fitting anyway. I can see how people would see Marth for Rarity though, Marth would be a good one to suggest Rarity to try when the blog starts.
