Hm, I think this was an overall good episode. Just seems just a little above the average but also isn’t as entertaining as most of the other episodes of the Season.

It’s probably the better of the two Flim Flam episodes. It’s overall better then Somepony to Watching Over Me, and while there were a few memorable jokes (Lyra the Judge) it wasn’t as humor full as Josh Haber’s previous episodes.

Though really thinking about it. It is a pretty solid Applejack episode overall. As this is a pretty good lesson. And Applejack isn’t even taken too much out of the spotlight.

I just don’t really have a lot to say other then it’s good AJ Episode, it’s not quite as entertaining as most Season 4 episodes have been but that also kinda means it harks back to some of the normal episodes of Season 1 & 2 and there is some charm about that. Other then this being a key episode this episode just didn’t seem quite like Season 4’s style. Though once again I’m not saying that’s a bad thing. It only seems a tad awkward where even the most seemingly normal episodes of Season 4 has something crazy to them like the previous AJ episode where it started out as an Overprotective sister episode, then suddenly BAM a Chimera threaten’s Applebloom’s life.

But perhaps it’s more fitting for a more simple pony of Applejack to have a more simpler way of getting her key then others so in some ways it still fits. But I just can’t promise this episode will what I consider one of the top episodes of Season 4. Though Season 4 has been so good being out of the Top 10 episodes isn’t even that bad.

Next one should hopefully be a fun one though. Rainbow Dash & Twilight, hmm… I have something cooked up between them coming this Tuesday ;)
