Earlier today someone on Derpibooru took yesterday’s picture, edited out Twilight’s wings, and posted it, all without my permission. The situation’s been taken care of, and the picture’s been deleted, but I wanted it to be clear that while I respect whatever opinion you have on alicorn Twilight, I do not appreciate my art being edited in that way. It doesn’t matter if there’s no point in the wings being there, or if they’re barely visible; if I draw her wings in, it’s because I want them there. I do what I can to please both sides of the whole alicorn thing- I draw a good amount of wingless Twilights and I’ve agreed to tag Twilicorn pictures- so I hope not having my art edited isn’t too much to ask for! (Oh, and please don’t think you have to argue about Derpibooru and its users because of this post. I understand how they can be, but the last thing I want to do is cause fights.)
tl;dr- Please don’t take away Twilight’s wings. It’s rude. What if she wanted to fly to Rainbow Dash’s house today? Now she can’t. Super rude. They were going to have snacks and everything.
This is why I kinda allowed Genie Twilight to be able to put on and off her wings. As a sort of neutrality. I’m one of those that actually liked AliTwi. But for certain asks that relate to it or in the Season 4 episode responses. Genie Twi will have her wings.
Though quite frankly it annoys me that this is an issue at all for some people. But then again I suppose as someone who thought Alicorn Twilight was interesting the moment I heard the rumors even before (Not to mention I loved the S3 Finale) Season 3 started, I may never understand why it’s such a bad thing to many to see Twilight with Wings.
