(Part 2 of 2)

Upon sight of the trio and to my surprise, Pinkie’s grin expanded and she dashed towards the trio and expressed how much she idolized them. I had no idea Pinkie even knew about the Warners. But there she was. I told Pinkie that one of them actually wished for a Pony ride. And she agreed to give one. I figured that, since of all the Ponies in Ponyville. Pinkie’s the one to be a little more carefree. Pinkie was even more excited this time though because she knew of them some how. Pinkie and Wakko went off for a ride around the entire town. I still didn’t know what to say about the three, but from what I saw of them at that time they were very much like Pinkie Pie. Even doing some of those random jokes and gags that I occasionally see Pinkie Pie perform.

Buuuut things turned a little awry when Yakko and Wakko caught sight of Nurse Redheart. Apparently they kind of have a “thing” for nurses, and they chased her around. At that moment I had to stop them, I levitated them into the air and let a rather scared Nurse Redheart run back to her home. I scorned them for this action. Their sister Dot ran out to plead for her my forgiveness for the rash action of her brothers. And well, they weren’t doing anything too bad until that point, so I let them go. But told them they probably should go back to wherever they got here from. As that’s not something most Equestrian places will tolerate. Yakko got a little snarky and asked what’s the worst punishment in this “Technicolor horse land”. Well I responded with being sent to the moon. Wakko thought that wasn’t so bad. Which I followed up by saying for 1000 years. Which seemed to scare them, apparently they’ve been locked up or punished to some place before but not nearly to the level of 1000 years. So they went off ahead and left, still no traces on how exactly they got in here in the first place.

I must say one thing though, their comedy was really funny. Some of the stuff they said, I had to stifle myself to keep my composure.

((Done in honor of the Animaniacs starting to run on the Hub this morning. Technially it started on Christmas Eve but today they started showing it from the beginning. In fact, prior to this post the first 2 episodes of the series aired. While I technially didn’t grow up with the series, as I was too young to see it when it was still airing. I had heard it was essentially one of the greatest cartoons to come out of the 90s. Sure enough when I saw some episodes here and there. Either through some stroke of luck, clips on Youtube, or even DVDs of the show it didn’t disappoint. But I don’t think anything beats having it back on TV for those who loved it back then, or for fans that didn’t give it a chance yet to give it a try. I imagine some very young kids might be very confused as the show is very, very much a 90s show. To the point most of the gags you may not get unless you know your 90s pop culture or even late 80’s

Regardless, being that it’s on the Hub. The same channel that has the show this blog is centered around, I’d really like to see more crossovers with Animaniacs and Friendship is Magic sometime. There is some already, but I think now that they’re on the same channel. Even if of course Animaniacs is just reruns, that there should be no reason there can’t be a good reason to crossover the two.

The Animaniacs sprites BTW are from an old Sega Genesis game that the Animaniacs had))

Waitwait, the HUB is bringing the Animaniacs back?! EEEEEE! >W<

Yep, the Hub will be airing ol’ Animaniacs episodes now. I loved the channel already just for Ponies, but to have Animaniacs on there is a real treat. I’m afraid I can’t really catch them all the time. But it’s alright because I can always rent the first three DVD volumes from the Library (I’m currently renting the first one in fact)
