There’s not really much else to say on A Matter of Principals other then well… it’s “Discord’s a Dick: The Episode”. Not only does Discord bother the heck out of Starlight and the student just because he wasn’t hired to do a job while Twilight was away. And at the end we found out the very reason Twilight and the others are gone was a prank Discord did on the map to begin with.

If you like Discord being a jerk episodes this episode probably was a good laugh for you. Though if you’re tired of Discord’s antics at this point you probably rolled your eyes. There was some amusing moments and even some wow moments where while they do say Starlight simply banished Discord’s body somewhere. She vaporized him DBZ style and for most of the rest of the episode he’s a ghost making it easily seem like he was killed (He wasn’t of course but it could seem that way to some if they missed a detail or two)

BTW I am aware a Christmas/Hearth’s Warming episode aired right after. But I’m saving that for a bit of a combination with the 1 hour Christmas Special coming later this year if you don’t mind. Have a bit of catching up to do with responses and I thought if we were getting two christmas things. Why not just get them together rather then separately. So next up is Friendship University.
