There’s been many changes to the main cast ever since our very first huge one when Twilight ascended to become an Alicorn. Whether they were physical changes, or they’ve advanced in their careers. Every one seems to reach something that changes something about them afterward. And I am glad Spike finally got a chance to have his own moment like this.

It’s nice to know the future I’ve always kind of envisioedn for Twilight and Spike. Is when Twilight has grown to a full-sized Alicorn she sometimes rides Spike to places and arrives in that kind of badass way. Sure, Twilight can fly herself. But it makes for one hell of an entrance to come by on the back of a giant dragon.

And with Twilight having been had wings for a decent amount of time. She may be even able to help teach Spike a bit. Though Spike did manage to immediately do some neat tricks including outspeeding the giant bird.

But yeah overall a real solid Spike episode. Looking forward to seeing Spike flying in later episodes and everything.
