Gotta admit that Non-Complete Clause isn’t exactly a strong episode to me. To be fair, the students are great in it. But in terms of Applejack and Rainbow. They could be kinda grating in this episode. It’s actually the first time since Season 1 that their competitive rivalry is the center of the episode (It’s shown up sometimes in other episodes but was usually a subplot or there was another pony involved besides those two)

There’s definitely moments such as the humor, Fluttershy getting the award 9 months in a row (Which wow, time really flied fast if that’s the case), Ocellus having a neat sea pony transformation, and again in general the students were the best part of the ep. But yeah, RD and AJ putting their competition above teaching the kids probably isn’t the funnest episode to watch exactly. I could understand this episode being annoying to some.
