This episode can basically be summed up to “The Map has called you to… RECONCILE WITH YOUR ANNOYING PARENTS!”. Heh, admittedly that just gives a bit of a funny air to the episode given the circumstances. You have to imagine what would happen if the Map never called them to do this. They may have well delayed seeing their parents like that for years longer.

I don’t overall really have too much to say about the episode. Since it’s kind of Parental Guidance again only with Sunburst and Starlight as opposed to just Rainbow this time. Though one of the questions is certainly going to be asked on where’s Starlight’s Mom and Sunburst’s Dad? It should be noted we did see who Sunburst’s Dad looked like (And even got an early bird cameo of his Mom before this episode). Still no sign of Starlight’s Mother though. So there’s going to be questions about this. Are they divorced, or even one or both of them deceased? Who knows, just seems weird to have just those 2. It even got people wondering if Sunburst and Starlight have secretly been siblings this entire time if they forgot about Sunburst’s father’s appearance!

I will say Stellar Flare does have a pretty good design. And should no doubt be a new pony for the MILF crowd to enjoy in this fandom. Thought that’d also make a decent joke for the episode response for this one in which MILF is something a little more innocent in Equestria heh.
