Grannies Gone Wild (Which is… quite an interesting title to say the list. All I can say is, it’s probably not a title you potentially do not want to try to google search) is something of a fun episode. Though a little odd to have it end at “Old people are actually cool” when I don’t actually think Rainbow was involved with much of that and instead was just trying to keep them safe and follow Applejack’s strict instruction.

If anything AJ is more at fault for what happens in this more then Rainbow is. Her overprotective nature that was introduced in Season 4 definitely struck again here.

On a smaller note seems we got the reveal of Trixie’s dad as a Las Vegas magician. Counting a certain cameo in the comics and we have both Trixie’s mom and dad revealed. The staff have confirmed that Jack Pot is meant to be Trixie’s father. But whether this was a joke or not they mentioned if he even knows he has a daughter. Which definitely could bring up some interesting if a bit sad backstories for Trixie. The possibility of Trixie being born from a one night stand barely getting to know her father would be some deep stuff.

Anyway, next episode I’m pretty hyped for actually because we will be seeing the Seapony kingdom from the movie again this time. And hopefully for longer then the movie spent time there too. Seeya then
