Marks and Recreation was a pretty ok episode.

No doubt though Rumble’s rebellion was going to remind people of Starlight’s own thing. You almost kinda expect Starlight to show up and be like all awkward hearing what Rumble is saying.

But it’s certainly an interesting thing for the CMC’s to face. And as with most CMC episodes Sweetie gets some really funny lines such as when recapping what happened to Thunderlane.

Speaking of Thunderlane, him being a Wonderbolt seemed to be out of nowhere. But as it turns out he actually made a cameo back in Newbie Dash. So he technically got in before Rainbow did it seems. But good to have another known character make it there too.

Also admittedly when Rumble was singing his anti-cutie mark song. I had to not been the only one that would of laughed if he got a singing cutie mark during/after his musical number. Granted, in all seriousness that would of proven Rumble right about how much of a crapshoot he was thinking Cutie Marks were but it’d be funny for a alternate ending fan comic of some kind. Hope someone gets on to that

But anyway, it was an alright episode. Though next episode I am really excited for, as it will involve Twilight’s parents. And for what should be much more then just the few seconds they usually get. I’m really excited.

Though what is also coming really soon is the big My Little Pony movie which I’ll probably see on the same day or the day after the next episode. Going to be a big week for sure pony-wise. I’ll probably give a first impressions as soon as I get home from the theatre for the movie. Though I’ll wait a bit before making a Genie Twilight response. Probably give it at least a week for most fans to soak it all in. But whether it’s for the movie or the next episode, I’ll seeya then.
