Discordant Harmony is certainly a treat for anyone who’s a fan of the Discord and Fluttershy friendship (or even ship for that matter)

I wouldn’t say it’s as spectacular as Season 5’s Discord/Fluttershy episode but this does take a bit of a more slice of life approach. Because we learn Fluttershy’s really come to enjoy the silly antics Discord provides. Some people have that friend who might drive others crazy, but sometimes quirks that don’t work for others work fine even if you’d think the personalities clash. And that’s because some people may want to get a little into a vastly differing personality to liven up their lives more. Or sometimes the same goes for having surprise media interests.

Like I’m hardly the type to yell, scream, and be the life of the party once loud music starts playing yet my favorite genre of music is Metal/Alternative Rock. It just helps energize me and it’s often what I’m listening to when I’m working on something. Sometimes people will just have an interest you wouldn’t expect them to and/or befriend someone you’d think they wouldn’t get along with. And the latter seems to be the case for Fluttershy and Discord.

On a side note the new tea ponies we see when Discord visits had some neat designs. I have a feeling there will be some good fanart for them (Or already given technically the episode has been released a little while given the Australian release)

But anyway, next time is an episode I assure you is an instant classic if you haven’t seen it already. It’s going to be great to finally talk about it properly. Seeya then.
