Predictions hm hm hmmmmm, well I’m super curious to see how it goes without Iwata. I wonder if we’ll have the new president (Kimishima) doing a lot of the talking, or if it will be someone else like Bill Trinen. I’m predicting both, but much less Kimishima than Iwata would have done.

As for actual announcements uhhhhh…….

New Smash Bros DLC character, I suspect it will be the final thing revealed in the Direct, maybe the first thing if some other big announcement is planned.

Talks of Super Mario Maker and Splatoon DLC methinks.

Mobile games? We know Nintendo’s entering the market, so I’m curious to know if they’ll have announcements about them in the Direct or some other means. I’d assume the direct, so we might get more info on that Tomodachi Life mobile game.

New Amiibos for the start of 2016?

More info on all the upcoming games for late 2015 and early 2016; Star Fox, Animal Crossing, Mario & Luigi (please!), Fire Emblem, etc.

I’ll just comment what I think is coming for Smash.

At least one character announcement for Smash. Even if we have to wait a while for the Character’s release. I think they’ll have some hype character for us just like last November when they announced Mewtwo as the first DLC character.

Probably at least two stages that will be available by the end of the month. And probably a new wave of Mii Fighter costumes as well.

Oh BTW they’ve said they’re not talking about the Mobile stuff yet. So you can chop that off the prediction list already. It will mainly be Wii U and 3DS stuff, likely showing what Nintendo will be providing for the Holidays and such. Though a Twilight Princess HD seems to be a really common item talked about since apparently there might of been some hints to it in some promotion.

Yeah, what I’m curious about is if the new character will be the first ballot character, or the last non ballot character? I feel like it’s too soon for it to be the former, unless it’s revealed in a way like Mewtwo, where we just see a still image and that’s it.

Stages eh? Any idea what sort of stages they’d be? Maybe a Splatoon stage? And oh yeah Mii costumes, definitely getting those.

Ooooh, good to know too, thank you! So scratch that, but oh right yes, I have heard the Twilight Princess HD rumors. I’d say that’s pretty likely then, I wonder if it’s planned as a quick end of year release for the holidays? Hm….

I also notice that so far it’s only confirmed in NA and EU and not Japan. Japan announcement may come later, but if it ends up being excluded, I think the chances of new games or characters or stages drops dramatically. We’ll see though.

I think all the characters left will be from the Ballot (Or at least partially, especially if the character announced is Wolf. Cause it’s possible they got him started early in promotion for Star Fox Zero, but it turns out he also had great support in the Ballot too). So yeah the first ballot character is what I’m expecting.

As for Stages. They may be both old stages (I wouldn’t mind having even more N64 Stages. Only ones left that aren’t already in or have a Melee incarnation of the stage like Corneria are Yoshi’s Island 64, Mushroom Kingdom, and Saffron City. Though another Brawl stage like New Pork City might be nice, especially for 8-Player Smash. That stage seems perfect for 8-Players), maybe a 3DS Stage carried over to Wii U (The Duck Hunt stage used to be Wii U only and now came as a free stage for 3DS so a vice versa might happen), or maybe even a brand new stage of some kind.

I wouldn’t necessarily say that, there was a Japanese-only direct that revealed Shulk (Most people knew he was already in thanks to a leak but that’s when his newcomer trailer was shown off) so it’s still possible that if somehow it’s not aired in Japan (I think they’ll probably have an announcement for them of some kind though) they can still have a Smash reveal. News would travel fast to Japan anyway. I’m sure there would be some Japanese fans who understand English could still watch the Direct and spread the news from there.
