Honestly with Kuvira, I actually saw more parallels to Stalin than with Hitler, considering how she was more of a fascist than a socialist. Also, the whole thing about how her being an orphan was never brought up previously or built up, a lot of that is due to Nickelodeon screwing over the creators of the show, and not giving them the creative freedom needed to make that happen.

(Once again, Korra Spoilers. So put in a read more section)

I think you got history a bit mixed up xD Nazi Germany was a part of facism, and Socialism is closer to Communism which is what the Soviet Union (and thus Stalin) had. But yeah I think in general Kuvira reminds us very much of brutal dictators of World History. I just think Hitler is mainly brought up because he’s one of the most (if not the most) significant examples. And again, there were just too many parallels to a point I wouldn’t find it too hard to believe that it isn’t a coincidence.

And yeah, I did hear about how it was Nick’s fault that they were forced to either make a clipshow episode or lay-off some of their workers. Which is really dumb and just another example of how awful the channel has become. At least with Korra now done with, I never need to tune in to that channel ever again (Well technically they did leave Korra for digital only so technically I was already off the channel. But for the finale when I watched it for the first time it aired on one of the extra channels. Called Nicktoons at about 10 PM EST last Friday)
