Eh, I thought Lost World was pretty good myself.

I’m also willing to kinda toss aside the Sonic Boom games as another part of the “Problem with Licensed Game” history even if the franchise it’s based on was a Video game franchise in the first place.

No matter how good or bad the Sonic Boom games were, we were told from the beginning that this is a spin-off that won’t be taking over the main Sonic series. Think more of other video game franchises that have series that are completely different continuities from their main games like any of the Mario RPGs. I would only start worrying if the next actual main Sonic game turned out stuff like the many glitches that have been uploaded onto Youtube already from the Wii U version of the game.

As for Sonic Boom as a whole, it’s best just to keep an eye on the show. (Heck history shows that pretty much all previous Sonic games sans parts of Sonic X have almost nothing to do with the main games that were coming out at the time. Even if Sonic SatAM technically continued through the Archie Comics) But probably avoid the games. As the show has been at least fairly decent so far. I think it’s still a little too early to say there’s yet another downward trend or I’m sure what others are saying “The Sonic Cycle and/or the Dark Age of Sonic has returned!”. Cause, when you’re not running into the glitches in the game the Sonic Boom game is your average 3D Action Platformer that just doesn’t really stand out. That’s still more you can say about it then say… Sonic 06. Where the game certainly stands out, but that being far from being a positive because what makes Sonic 06 standout is just how terrible the game is.

If there’s anybody out there that’s making comparisons to Sonic 06 with the Wii U version of Sonic Boom and saying this game may be just as bad or even WORSE then Sonic 06. They need a slap to the face and a reminder of just how bad Sonic 06 really was.
