Hah, maybe. Not sure if I heard this right, but it is possible to use the 3DS as a controller for the Wii U version, right? Wasn't exactly sure about the connectivity between both.
I thought I heard something about that. But I think we have to wait until Japan gets the Wii U version to know for sure (I’m pretty sure Japan is getting the Wii U version before us)
Not that it matters to me. No way I’m using the 3DS controls for the Wii U. Gamecube controller, all the way! I have a controller that I had ever since I first got a Gamecube, and it still works perfectly. To use that for the new Smash when I’ve used it when Melee was new, and when Brawl was new will just be the best ^^
It started with the battery, then just... I don't know, fell apart somehow. But yeah, going to have to wait until it releases on the Wii U to fully enjoy the game. Though, I do think my brother will still get the 3DS version, so it's not a total lost cause.
The only trouble will be if you two can’t find time to share xD
Sad as it is to say, while I would love to join you in the whole Smash fun, I won't be getting the 3DS version since my 3DS no longer works and I don't have the money to get another one (using it to get a Wii U along with Super Smash Bros. for that). That's going to have to wait for a much, longer time.

Yeah, true. I guess that's another reason to get it on launch day (which I'm doing BTW XD). But still, I can't stand waiting two while weeks for what's gonna likely be the best 3DS game of the year!
I’m with ya there. All we can do is just go through whatever we have to do in real life and/or keep ourselves busy with hobbies.
But the 3DS version is two weeks away! THE HYPE IS REAL I also really want the Wii U version too, but I might not get it until Christmas T-T
The 3DS Version should have plenty to offer even if you do have to wait for Christmas. Just experiment with the Custom Movesets. That should give you plenty to do. ^^
I’m going to get both as soon as I can. I am not going to be missing a single day of Smash for quite a while :D

Haha, I know the feeling.
At times it feels like just yesterday when it was E3 2013 and we got the news about Megaman being in the game though we knew it was a long while til’ the game would be actually released.
But as we’re less then a month away from the actual release, it can feel like time is slowing down cause something we’ve been awaiting for years will finally be out. And we can’t believe it’s that close to being in our hands.
At least the wait for the Wii U version won’t be so anxious for those who are getting the 3DS version too, because we will have the 3DS version to hold us over til’ the Wii U version is released here (I won’t have the complete game until I have both IMO, the customization and the other possibilities the connectivity between the two versions have I think will be really cool)
So I'm addicted to the demo for Smash 3DS. Holy crap is Mega Man awesome.
Ya the demo is fun. Though because it’s just 5 characters and one stage it doesn’t feel like it’s enough xD
The fact they black out the other stages and characters just feels like’s it’s teasing me so much. I know now it’s less then 2 weeks until the game is out. And I gotta be patient.
But still, I’m like “AGH Just let me select Sonic or something!”
When IS your new blog coming out? When the 3DS version of Smash comes out, or sometime earlier?
Well it officially starts on September 25th, which is again next Thursday. If I could, I’d do it on the 26th. But there’s no guarantee I’ll be online much on that day. But either way it’ll be about a week prior to the release of Smash 4 in North America. (Give it a week of exposure so people can send in their asks to give me material before I even get the game)
Can't wait to see your new blog when it comes out! Pretty curious as to what that would be like.

Oh I didn't imply anything! That was a straight-up promotion of my blog I was doing on Tuesday that I'd since deleted together with all the TMIs I'd done that day. I said "This is my new blog, check it if you want". Didn't think you saw that!
