PRINCESS SPIKE THOUGHTS
SLICE OF LIFE THOUGHTS
Thoughts on Roy and Ryu?

I… haven’t much to say about Roy since I’m not that interested as playing with him. My brother might though (And I kinda dread that because he’s better at Smash then I am overall and if he keeps beating me with Roy I’m just going start disliking him even more then I already do xP). I know they’ve actually changed him up, but I just don’t care for him much at all. I’m giving him the same treatment I did for Dr. Mario and Dark Pit (Play as him in Classic, All-Star in both versions to get their trophies, as well as at least one Smash Run. Then barely touch them again afterward)

As for Ryu though, he’s great. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to actually be good with him cause I never was that good at Street Fighter. But he’s a fun character to use when I’m really bored. I’m glad he’s in not only for that.

But he expands the horizons on possible DLC for sure. I can hold on hope for Tails some day ^^ (Hey, maybe even next E3. It would be in the same month as the 25th Anniversary of Sonic. It’d be perfect)

Quick Spur on Gaming news

Just wanted to get a few short thought on some recent news. Just two things actually.

First of which, it looks like the 3DS Sonic Boom game Shattered Crystal is getting a sequel. I’m not going to really freak out though as most of the Sonic fandom is inevitably going to do so. Just like the other Sonic Boom video games I’m likely not going to be interested in buying it whatsoever. But still, it’s probably going to be one of those times where I gotta hide in the Sonic Fan-Rage bunker for a little while. Cause even if this isn’t like Rise of Lyric was announced that it was getting a sequel. The Sonic Boom games as a whole still cause a bit of emotion stirring if they’re ever brought up in a Sonic related discussion.

The other thing is actually something neat, I’ve always kinda liked the Lego Video game series that are based on established Movie franchises like Lego Stars and/or Lego Indiana Jones. Now they have one coming up for the Jurassic Park franchise. The title may be just referring to the fourth movie that comes out in theaters this month. But near the end of the trailer there’s clips that show it will also have the first three Jurassic Park movies in it too. I find that really cool. Actually thinking of having (The Wii U version) it for a birthday present or for Christmas later in the year.

Well assuming there’s not anything else really cool I may want more that’s announced next Tuesday…

Please pardon me if I’m in a bit of a sad and/or quiet mood

One of my family’s pet dogs just passed away last night. He was a Beagle/Basset Hound mix named Hammer.

I kinda figured something was wrong when he was vomiting quite a few times yesterday many hours before he died. But still it came as a shock to the household when he suddenly got into a seizure and then died so suddenly.

It was quite tough to sleep last night.

So if you talk with me soon enough and you’re wondering why I’m not as cheery as I usually am. That’s why.

thealmightypinkone: Glad to see a positive outlook on this episode all I see is people complaining about pinkie in this episode

Wait really? We must hang at different corners of the critical spectrum because even those who didn’t like it so much didn’t complain about Pinkie whatsoever (They mainly thought Gilda’s turnaround and redemption was too quick/rushed or they felt more could have been done. Though admittedly regarding Gilda’s turnaround I felt it was more believable then both Discord’s in Keep Calm and Flutter On and even Sunset Shimmer in Equestria Girls) and those who liked it including myself cite Pinkie as one of the reasons we enjoyed the episode.

In general I’ve been hearing Pinkie in Season 5 as of so far quite praised more often then the apparent huge concern for her in Season 4. I didn’t think her character was dropping too rapidly myself even back then beyond a few hiccups (Balloon distraction in Three’s a Crowd and Filli Vanilli Pinkie as a whole). So yeah we just might be around different people that feel quite differently.

Though I certainly know the feeling even within this very fandom. I defended the idea of Alicorn Twilight that was enraging perhaps half of the entire fanbase before MMC even aired. So feeling like one of the few dissenters in a sea of hate and vitriol towards something you don’t think isn’t quite as bad as others are saying can be a rather sad feeling. While I’m not saying anything with Pinkie, even the whole Season 4 thing with her is quite as obviously fandom splitting as AliTwi was. I just think that’s a good example for how that must feel. So I can really sympathize here

Quick Trivia: I was the one who suggested the name chosen on the post asking for names. Actually, one of the rare times I thought of a good name that quickly. That’s not normal for me. Considering I had to ask Navitas help in naming most of the new characters in Return to Saddle Arabia c.c

Anyway, thank you for using my name suggestion Hakuno, I can feel some personal pride everytime Eve appears in the future of your blog ^^

MAKE NEW FRIENDS BUT KEEP DISCORD THOUGHTS

seminoles8 said: You still didn’t read the fan mail sent to you, which elaborates why I feel that way about the episode

I did read it, it’s just easier to answer the actual shorter ask ones. And I didn’t find anything in the fan mail that I needed to really cover about it when just saying why I still felt at generally ok with the episode. It was all opinion based. What else am I supposed to say? Disagree on every one of your points?

The only one maybe I should contest is how you think any characters that return from Season 1 had no point in the episode when you do know this episode took place in Appleloosa right? It would of been weird if they went back there but did not have the Apple Family Member we were introduced to come back (Braeburn). Yeah he didn’t do a whole lot, but Appleloosa is where he lives.

Every one of your other complaints (Cliched Jokes, Plot we’ve seen so many times before, etc.) you could say the same about many episodes of the show. Even the generally popular episodes if you have enough of an unpopular opinion. So I feel that’s just something to just shrug off and treat it like an opinion you’re free to be entitled to and I don’t feel the need to comment on.
