I go on a Serious investigation with Snowflake (The big buff YEAAAAAAAH stallion) and then Equestria and our world fuse together. I’m cool with that.

This is the sprite sheet I finished in the time off. It’s not perfect by any means, there’s probably at least a few sprites that has the attire kinda placed awkwardly. But otherwise every sprite from Urimas collection for Twilight have been fully edited with attire adorned on every single one.

You may also notice that they’re kinda small compared to alot of the updates. That’s because I use print screen and Photoshop’s zoom tool to make the sprites bigger then they actually are for answers and everything. If you want to see how it would look if I didn’t do that. Go see my earliest answers. It it kinda awkward with Twilight being so gosh darn small. The way I do it now, it’s easier to see Twilight’s expressions.

Also I don’t know how many people are actually going to do so. But I’d be completely alright with any spriters who’d like to use Genie Twilight for whatever reason. Just make sure to credit both Urimas for the original version, and me for the edits applied. It’d also be nice to inform me beforehand.

Additionally, seems Pinkie’s a little sad there realizing MLP Online was shut down. It’s ok Pinkie, we all were looking forward to it.

Rough Draft Differences and Origin Story Behind the Scenes Part 3

After the first meeting with Kubuya in the origin story. A lot of what follows wasn’t changed much except for the details I’ve already stated. Spike gets the book, releases Twilight so she can read it with him. And they learn a lot of how Genies work. Though when Spike learns that Twilight is Immortal and doesn’t age as a genie, it’s obvious in the Rough Draft when he starts thinking of the mindset of hoping Twilight decides to stay a Genie. However some things about the bottle and wishes were quite different.

You may have seen an answer done during the blog where Pinkie breaks the bottle with her head. If I had kept a certain detail from the rough draft. It wouldn’t have done anything. I kinda felt that was a bit of an overpowering of the bottle. At the same time I also don’t want to make it seem that the Bottle was Twilight’s life support or anything. You know, like how Jafar dies in Return of Jafar. (His lamp fell into the Lava, without it Jafar disappeared from existence). Because then Twilight wouldn’t be as immortal as we thought. And considering that Twilight can sometimes be around some of the clummsiest ponies. If Twilight died if the bottle broke, then It’d be too easy for a clumsy Spike, Pinkie Pie, or a crashing Rainbow to kill Twilight. If the bottle was completely destroyed, Twilight would have to find a new container. But she won’t get the full rest unless she gets the specially designed type of vessels that Malakhar’s capable of making.

If Twilight for some reason or another was not in her bottle for an entire week, the bottle would suck her in regardless of her status.

This one would be kinda pointless if this stayed because Twilight likes going in the bottle. So why would she even think of not going in for an entire week? It served as a point that it wasn’t wise to lose the bottle. But otherwise it’s not really punishment if Twilight goes in there every night.

There were a few rules to wishing. But only regarding giving others immortality, and control of the world. And Twilight could only refuses wishes regarding Murder or “Naughty” wishes

This is kinda deemed redundant by the fact Twilight can refuse wishes. In the rough draft it did kinda have a point though in the story since at least in regards to the first time wishing something (If it was a repeated wish, then Twilight could just do it again). Twilight had no control of the wish being granted. Also in the rough draft, bringing back somepony from the dead was impossible. While you know that in the blog, Twilight is able to bring back ponies from the dead. But she knows it’s a bad idea because of the huge cons of Necromancy.

All in all it was just scrapped in favor making Twilight be not so limited. But due to her being able to refuse wishes, and Twilight being a pony that will think first before granting something potentially huge as a wish.

Just a little Status Update

This is mod here just getting into my status. I have two asks done and they might be up later tonight. But reasons things are slow is because my house bandwith is kinda at a low (Posting this from the library), and i don’t want to go over too quickly. I should be able to go back into full activity by next Monday.

Also regarding the episode leak of Episode 7 of Season 3, I caved and watched it. But don’t worry I won’t say anything about it. I’ll still try to put up a response to the episode on Saturday like I’ve always done and give my thoughts there. But if it comes out late, hopefully you’ll understand.

Though I’ve been focused on this blog still. Because I’ve actually took this opportunity to edit a full sprite sheet for Genie Twilight. Up until now I’ve had to either make Genie Twilight by editing the one sprite or borrowing a pose from a previous answer. But with the Sprite sheet almost being done, I won’t have to rely on that as often. And I’ll also have more poses at the ready if need be. I might also make it public in case there any spriters who’d like to use Genie Twilight in anything they want. All the sprites on Urimas sheet for Twilight will all have the attire on and everything and will include sprites for the bottle. It however won’t include special effects stuff like the horn glow or the Genie Tail since it’s best that stays absolutely custom because a genie tail isn’t supposed to really stay consistent. I’m sure that’s not a big deal though since canonically Twilight prefers having hindlegs. Though I probably should find more reasons to use the Genie Tail. Because it’s always fun making it.

Well, that was unexpected…

That’s a darn shame TeeJay. I hope you find another thing to keep you occupied as much as this blog has. Sorry you couldn’t do alot more.
