Reblog with an answer

If you need an Attorney or a Prosecutor, which Hybrid Pony do you want to hire?

For Example: Spider-Pony, Lamia-Pony, etc.

Mod of I Dream of Twilight Sparkle / Genie Twilight here.

I’ll take a Lamia-Pony, they can slither through loopholes hehe

Help me with an Episode Response idea!

Hey there, this is the mod asking for a bit of help. I love doing episode responses on Genie Twilight and for as long as the show goes I like to keep these going. However sometimes an episode makes it hard for me to come up with an idea. Most of the time I have some idea almost immediately or even if I don’t have something I think of something small.

For the first time though, I thought I’d ask for some help from you guys. As while I did enjoy On Your Marks, I just don’t know what I can do for this one as of yet.

So… if you can… Send an ask, or reply to this post to give me a response on something I can do with Genie Twi related to On Your Marks. If I like an idea, I’ll be sure to credit you (Though if an anon gives the idea I like most that’d be kinda difficult…) once I’ve made it the actual response.

If this is successful, I might do this again for if there’s another case where I have a difficult time thinking of an episode response.

Thank you, and have a nice day ^^

someone said maud has autism. What do u think of that

I don’t want to really generalize any people who have mental illnesses by saying particular fictional characters have any disorders.

Heck, if I haven’t mentioned it enough, I myself am autistic (Mild aspergers syndrome) and I’m certainly not as emotionless as Maud is.

But as long as the theorizing that particular characters to certain disorders/disabilities is a noble cause. Not meant to stereotype them then that’s fine. Cause maybe they’re those who have those disabilities that find a character they really relate to.

But as a general rule, I don’t think it’s a good idea to say a particular character is disabled unless there’s a clear intention by the writers to convey that.

You expect way too much of a kids show just so you can justify watching it. Oh no there's no enjoying it I need to justify my reasons for watching it by being overly analytical. Just enjoy the damn show for what it is! Not everything have be deep and emotional ya know

I just want to say that I’m hardly one of the most critical people in the fandom. Yes, I may have done an entire Top 100 list saying something about each and every episode. But I didn’t get into the nitty-gritty for everything for the exception for the episodes I were particularly passionate about whether I disliked (Though Rainbow Falls being the only episode I don’t like on that level) or the ones I really, really like.

And I do enjoy the show on it’s own. I just like mentioning my thoughts on each episode. Is it wrong to say what I like or dislike from a show I like to watch? And I have never said an episode had to be deep or emotional to be good. Hearts and Hooves Day is an example of an episode that is a lowdown on the heart (Ironic for the title) but plenty of comedy to enjoy.

'RE: THE GIFT OF THE MAUD PIE THOUGHTS' I think the only explaination as why Pinkie didn't ask Rarity to make a pouch for Maud, aside from the sake of the episode per se (if she did that the episode would have been over after 10 minutes XD) is because she wanted to give Maud the gift before sunset for their PSSSD, and since Rarity had not the time (possibly) nor the materials and tools to make one pronto, she coulnd't simpy wait to be back in Ponyville to have one made.

I thought of that as a possibility, though Rarity has been in a situation like this before and funnily enough was the first time we saw Manehattan (Aside from AJ’s flashback in Cutie Mark Chronicles). Suri Polomare plagiarized Rarity’s dresses. So Rarity had to suddenly find new fabric, and luckily enough she had the fabric in the hotel.

That was a pretty desperate situation, and I think with how much it seemed Rarity was willing to help Pinkie she might of done something like that again. (I bet Pinkie could of had Rarity make it out of hair from her floofy mane and/or tail if need be. That might of been worth it just for the look on Rarity’s face. Pinkie possibly pointing out something like “Wool is just sheep hair. What’s the big deal, Rarity?”). A pouch would require less fabric then an entire line of clothing like with the hotel too. She could of probably made one with something as small as a towel.

But yeah it was probably mostly because the episode would of been over too early had they gone with that solution. These were new writers who wrote the episode, it’s something I can pass as something they overlooked.
